Surrey Libraries information and How to Get a FREE Card Online!

READING LINK CHALLENGE 

Many of our grade 4 and 5 students participated in the Surrey Public Library Reading Link Challenge this year. We had six teams of six students that read six novels on their own time. After weeks of practice they competed in an In-School Challenge in front of parents and the grade 3, 4 and 5 classes on March 11th.

The Smarties: Karina div 9, Milena div 9, Lexie div 9, Alexis div 9, Frances div 9 and Julie div 7. 

The Legendary Readers: Ajay div 6, Emaan div 6, Evan div 6, Ashaan div 8, Nati div 7 and Gage div 8 

The Book Busters: Sophie div 6, Jahleel div 9, Angelina div 7, Olivia div 9, Emily div 9 and Carson div 9 

The Stressed Readers: Grace div 8, Analisia div 8, Georgia div 7, Piper T div 7, Piper S div 8 and Carol div 8 

And the winning team from Morgan this year is .... The Smarties: Karina div 9, Milena div 9, Lexie div 9, Alexis div 9, Frances div 9 and Julie div 7. Way to go girls!!!  They were supposed to be advancing to the South Surrey Challenge on Wednesday April 1st to compete against other schools in South Surrey.  That winning team would move on to the Surrey Community Challenge and then possibly on to the Grand Challenge. We are waiting to see what happens going forward and will keep you updated.
